Every year, more than 19,000 cases of skin cancer are diagnosed in the UK. And in men, 1 in 4 of these cases develop in hard-to-spot areas such as the scalp and neck. But who regularly sees these parts of the body that we can’t? Barbers, of course.

Transforming barbers into the first line of defence against skin cancers. 

The campaign:
A free handbook for barbers that doesn’t teach how to cut hair, but to spot signs of skin cancer. Launched with a film shot on location at Ruffians Barbers, as well as significant influencer outreach to embed our project within culture.

Creator outreach

We reached out to influencers to support our campaign, including Andrea Amighetti (449k followers), One Minute Barber (149k followers), Sidda Barber (25k followers) and Giuly Campana (20k followers).

We predominantly focused on male beauty and health creators, as well as barbers with strong online followings.
